Butte College is hosting Discovery Day, an information and fun fair, on Saturday, Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Butte College Chico Center, 2320 Forest Avenue in Chico. This event is designed to help anyone interested in attending Butte College for the upcoming Winter Session on January 3 or Spring Semester, beginning January 24, 2022. The public is invited to attend to learn all that Butte College offers.
Representatives from more than 30 Butte College departments will be on-hand to showcase different certificate and degree options available at Butte College, including student resources, services, and clubs. There will be information about the Butte College Promise Scholarship which provides 2 years of free tuition and fees to first-time, full-time students. Admissions and financial aid experts will be on hand to answer questions about the application process, financial aid opportunities, and in-person assistance completing an application.
In addition to music, there will be food vendors, hands-on demonstrations, entertainment, and fun for the whole family.
